Live History – Behind Glass

Behind Glass is an interactive, one-hour, promenade-style theatre experience that blends escape room, murder mystery, and live performance elements as audiences move through the venue solving a historical mystery together.

Step into an after-hours mystery at The Langham as the building itself seems to come alive with misplaced objects, missing artefacts, and clues tucked into unexpected corners. In Behind Glass, you and a small group of fellow “curators” move through the space with the actors, meeting characters from the past, uncovering their stories, and piecing together what, or who, is causing the chaos.

You won’t just sit and watch; you’ll search, question, and collaborate, following clues and making choices that shape how the story unfolds. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden layers of history within The Langham, and by the end you’ll know whether you’ve solved the mystery in time, or risk being “trapped behind glass” yourselves.
